Hello... I am actually trying to find my grandfather''s dog tags. He lost them in Berkeley, California while saying at a YMCA on his return home to Maryland during WWII. His name is Sidney Sterling and the tag number is 751936. I would love to return them to him if possible! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i live in uk on the south coast of england where many american troops where stationed in the woods and fields in preparation for the d day invasion. my passion is exploring these areas and have found 2 dog tags which will give me great pleasure to return to the rightful owners or famileys in the states.thanks to this site i am sure this will now be possible .the least i can do as a thank you to those troops from that generation.
